Traditional cut in the open field or more modern cultivation in soil-less, organic or conventional production, strawberries cover the soils of the Cher Valley with red in spring.
In this destination with a thousand flavors, some forty producers on some thirty farms produce strawberries and market more than 2,000 tonnes each year.
From the simple but so tasty cut of strawberries to the strawberry charlotte or the delicious strawberry liqueur Fraise-or mythical product of the artisanal distillery Girardot. This small fruit is appreciated by the greatest number and contributes to the reputation of a rich and quality terroir.
